Employee
development can be in-house development or can be done from outside consultancy
– like career development centers. A proper employee training and development
depends on the type of organization, what functions they have, processes
involved, employees position or duties, new challenges that are involve, future
goals of the company, etc. A good training aims to bring down the variances
between the Organization goal, and Individual goal of the employee.
Both
In-House as well as outside career development centers can achieve the goals.
But it depends on how much time the firm has to train its employees or what
kind of training is needed for the employee. A Specific & Specialized
course can be trained better with the help of
outside consultancies. But it should be noted that the final result will
depend on the employee itself. He or she should have the desire to learn and
become expert for the training that they are going for.
